The Pam 5000
enables expanded capabilities to sites that use third party
POS systems, such as Verifone Ruby, with Gilbarco dispensers
including blenders and high volume units.

No
POS Changes - The PAM 5000 replaces the PAM 1000 with
enhanced software and uses the same interface module
Remote
or local troubleshooting of POS to PAM issues
Easy
configuration via laptop - no jumpers to set
Eliminates
CRIND and D-Boxes - The two-wire cables used for pump
control can be connected directly to the DSB492 Current Loop
module, eliminating the d-box that is typically used for pump
control. With the addition of an optional CRIND Expansion Kit,
CRIND two-wire cables can also be directly connected to the PAM
5000. The CRIND Expansion Kit will support up to 8 dispensers
with CRIND. For sites larger, with up to 16 dispensers with
CRIND, an additional Current Loop Expansion Kit is required.
Eliminates
the need for the RS-232 to RS-422 converter
Built-in
program monitors pump and POS communication
Modular
components - The basic PAM 5000 is configured with a
DSB500 POS module and a DSB492 Current loop module. This set-up
supports up to eight dispensers. Up to two additional Current
Loop Modules can be added to control up to 36 fueling positions.
